The NGH Intensive Care Unit is a two-storey modular facility designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing hospital while enhancing critical care capacity and staff support. This innovative approach enabled a rapid, high-quality construction process while ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations.

• Ground Floor: A state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit featuring 11 ICU bays and 5 isolation rooms, providing essential high-dependency care in a controlled environment.

• First Floor: Dedicated staff support facilities, a Level 1 ward, and an extended chest clinic consultation area, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care and operational efficiency.

By adopting a modular construction strategy, the project delivered a future-proof, high-performance clinical environment with exceptional hygiene, functionality, and patient care standards—all within an accelerated timeline.
